This is going to be such a let down when the owner realizes that hanging on to this “limited edition” bike as an investment was probably a bad call.

Uh oh. It’s been sitting a very long time. It might leak oil.

*giggle*

Seriously though, every seal needs replacing, plus the tires. $22k? CP

Isn’t it a little early to be trying to sell a “p reserved” 2003 model ? It’s not even 25 years old yet...

It is the 100th Anniversary, they probably embraced their total loss lubrication system.

If it was a FXDWG in gunmetal blue, sure.  This one, not so much.

I think they’re counting on it being a “100th anniversary” model to give it some inherent value. Yeah, not so much.  they sold a lot of them that year.

Yeah, I feel like every 5th Harley I see is a 100th anniversary model.

A lot of guys bought those 2003 Anni editions, expecting the investment to pay off.

Hopefully their kids can benefit.

Outside of the Vrod, they still all leak. Source : 2 friends and a neighbor with Harleys spanning 1996-2010(?), 3 for 3 on oily drips, even after the 96 Sportster had a full rebuild.

I I work for Harley for 15 years you don’t know what you’re talkin about they stop that problem after 85.. they have a ton over issues you can bring up..oil leaking is so 1970.. and no, I not a fan boy of the brand.

If the following phrase doesn’t give you violent flashbacks, you never worked for Harley.

“Oil dripping from air cleaner ”

If you do work for Harley, this is the point where to try to explain that that's no big deal. Which is true for HD, and literally no one else.
